There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.

A problem worth solving…

It is a tragic occurrence that any American parent should have to send their child to school under the ever looming threat of a mass shooter.  It is a bigger tragedy that our children must attempt to navigate their developmental lives and education, while under this same threat.  But the worst tragedy that we can face as parents, children, and citizens is knowing that we were aware that this threat existed and that we did nothing to prepare ourselves to face it.

On April 20th, 1999 at 11:19 AM, Eric Harris & Dylan Klebold  perpetrated a vicious attack on Columbine High School, in Littletown, Colorado. As a result, 15 people died, and 23 more were wounded including 6 people with brain/spinal injuries.

42 minutes after the attack began, SWAT entered the building.

This horrific attack forever changed how we view the safety of our children within their schools.

On April 20th, at 11:18 AM, no American school needed a plan…

…by 11:20 AM, EVERY American school needed a plan.
